The South Asia’s leading art fair is held at the NSIC Exhibition Grounds in New Delhi. The first edition of the India Art Fair was held in 2008, and has eventually become one of the largest art fairs in the world.
3 reasons to Go See “The India Art Fair”
This is a must go see exhibition as it gives an insight into the art scene. It is a space where Indian artists can exhibit their works on an international platform. It also give international artists an opportunity to showcase their work in India.
This is the 11th edition of India Art Fair, where there are 75 galleries rom 24 Indian and international cities under one roof.
For all art enthusiasts, there is a ‘young collectors’ programme this year, which has master classes where one can learn about collecting and buying art. There are also curated walks organised for the same – to gain a better understanding of the works.
Some tips to keep in mind, before you go see “The India Art Fair”
If travelling by metro – Govindpuri Metro Station which falls on the Violet line is next to the entrance of the fair.
